Landfill Projects have successfully completed the construction of a ~10,000m2 landfill cell, with the area split into two cells via an intercell bund.

Works involved site clearance, filling levels to formation, creating an engineered clay liner, installing a 2mm geomembrane liner layer, installing a geotextile protection layer, concrete target pads, installing leachate drainage stone, and installing leachate collection pipework and chambers.

All materials were supplied and installed in accordance with specification and EA guidelines and within the contracted timeframe.

Site perimeter monitoring boreholes were also installed as part of the works.
