Odour Control Project, Lancashire (Phase 2)

Following works carried out under Phase 1 of this project, one area of site remained susceptible to H²s outbreak.  The uncapped area was an extremely steep banking.

Lining of the steep descent presented a challenge in terms of designing a method of installation that ensured the safety of our team was not compromised, yet allowed them to complete the works to their usual impeccable standards.

We successfully installed 2,000m² of 2mm Micro-spike liner armed with winch, rope ladder and harnessing.

This final measure completed resolution of the H²s outbreak to the satisfaction of our client and also the Environment Agency.
