Plymouth Park, former Landfill Site, South Wales

Infrastructure upgrade works undertaken as part of a project commissioned by the Welsh Government. Plymouth Park is a public recreation park of approx. 10 acres – the site remained fully open to the public for the duration of our works (a period of approx. four months). Works included:-

• Setup and maintenance of compound and welfare facilities to restrict public access to working areas
• Protection of existing trees in accordance with BS5837:2005
• Installation of 4No. below-ground soak-away drains
• Excavation and reinstatement of car-park areas and footpaths
• Re-grading and levelling of approx. 3 acres of park
• Supply and installation of approx. 4km of pipework and ducting
• Reinstatement of bollards
• Supply and installation of below-ground monitoring chambers
• Provision of site-surveying expertise including as-built drawings
• Weekly progress meetings with our client’s Project Manager and a representative of the Welsh Government
